Solid Core Hook-up Wires are perfect for wiring circuits on a breadboard or protoboard, where movement is minimal. Solid core wires are easier to push into a breadboard and plated through holes of a printed circuit board.

Worked great to lengthen fan harness
I got a ceiling fan off Amazon with a wiring harness that was about five feet short for the 72” down rod I needed to install. I got this kit to splice in the additional wire, and it worked great. I don’t think there’s a ton of variation in copper wire of specific gauges, but this one works fine and is reasonably priced. Could not find this is the big box stores.
